Due to a legal technicality in the 1990s, my father (a then unemployed carpet salesman), briefly inherited the duties of drawing a nationally syndicated comic strip. Working under the pseudonym "Jim Jadams," these lost Garfbert strips were recovered among his personal effects and have never before been reprinted—until now.
