This past Friday was the memorial service for Henry Soapfloats, the legendary prop comedian who passed away at the age of 130 earlier this month. Spearheaded by Ian Abramson, the night's ceremonies were a joyous celebration of the life of a man whose influence has shaped the Chicago comedy scene over the last century. A myriad of speakers appeared, and ultimately, in a shocking twist, Henry was reborn from Abramson's chest cavity at the night's end.
Comedian and photographer Lev Kalmens was on site to photograph the service, check out some shots below!
